Schoolwide Expectations

At Pond Cove School we practice using positive reinforcement and ongoing praise to teach students school wide expectations. This is a schoolwide commitment to explicitly teach students appropriate behavior and consistently acknowledge them when they get it right and support them when they struggle.

Three core values inform our schoolwide behavior expectations: Responsible, Respectful, and Safe. Each core value is tied to expectations within the common areas of the school. By following these expectations we all show that we are responsible, respectful, and safe.
