Fundraising Updates

Pond Cove Parents Association. Every little bit counts, so click here to get started!

  CLYNK Updated Totals

So far this quarter we have collected:
Kindergarten - $71.65 • 1st Grade - $30.00 • 2nd Grade - $47.00
3rd Grade - $61.05 • 4th Grade - $90.85

How can you help? Encourage your kids to collect bottles and cans from neighbors and friends who don't have kids in Cape schools. Drop off bags to them and offer to pick them up when they are full. There is a lot out there just waiting to be recycled. Have your kids grab two bags this week!

Hannaford Grocery Card Fundraiser
The November Hannaford fundraiser brought in $315.00 for our outdoor educational programs.  17 Cape families took part - thank you!!  It is so easy to get involved - just send in a check with your filled out form to the MS or Pond Cove front office and you will receive a Hannaford grocery card for the full amount of your check. Hannaford gives back 5% of every dollar loaded onto your card.  You decide to which grade's outdoor fund your 5% gets allocated - for example - do you have a kindergartner this year?  Choose Class of 2031 for your 5% allocation - the money STAYS with the class for future outdoor programming!   You may also choose to allocate funds to teacher grants.

Community News

The Pond Cove Playground Needs YOU!
This is an open invitation to join the Pond Cove Playground Committee! We need smart, active, and passionate parents/guardians/families to make this happen. Whatever you can lend - a little time, your ideas, your support - together our parent/guardian community will make the new Pond Cove Playground a reality!
We will kick off our Pond Cove Playground Committee with a meeting that works with for all interested committee members:
we will hold a daytime kick off meeting, an evening kick off meeting, AND a video conference call kick off meeting. We will share the design plans, the committee needs, and project timeline. We will answer any questions and brainstorm ideas such as local businesses to approach and ways to measure our fundraising progress visibly in school and on our Pond Cove Playground website.
Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you are interested in helping.
Because we want to give all parents the opportunity to attend Pond Cove Parents Association meetings, we will continue to alternate meeting times – morning meeting one month, evening meeting the next month. Morning meetings will be held in the Pond Cove Cafetorium.
Evening meetings will be held in the Pond Cove Library Learning Commons.
