Have a safe and fun summer!

We'll be emailing out an online survey to all Pond Cove parents to help us plan for PCPA events and programs for the upcoming school year. It's short and sweet, and will be used to help guide our decisions as we develop the calendar of events. This survey will hit inboxes at the end of this week -
and we would really appreciate your opinions and feedback.

 CLYNK EOY Fundraising Updates

As the school year is coming to a close, we want to thank everyone for supporting the CLYNK program at Pond Cove! Cape Elizabeth has really made an impact in the State of Maine with recycling and programs like this are a huge help financially to supporting programs within our schools.
Below are the totals for this 2017-2018 school year for CLYNK.

K - Class of 2030 - $911.67
1st Grade - Class of 2029 - $613.36
2nd Grade - Class of 2028 - $894.91
3rd Grade - Class of 2027 - $1,040.55
4th Grade - Class of 2026 - $905.09

A HUGE thank you to Kristina Justh, Allison Blackstone and Robyn Diamond for their tireless efforts in facilitating all aspects of CLYNK for Pond Cove! From coordinating bag folding to filling classroom bins to creating packets to be sent home in back pack mail, their commitment, energy and effort around this program are greatly appreciated!

Please continue to CLYNK all Summer long! The bags you have at home will continue to associated with your childs grade. For example, if you have a current 4th grader who is rising to 5th next year, even though your bags say "4th Grade" on them, you can despite them at CLYNK all Summer and even next year as the account number associated with those bags will roll to their next grade.

If you have any questions regarding CLYNK at Pond Cove or would
like to get involved for next year, please feel free to email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

If you would like to take part in this no cost fundraiser over the summer, mail or drop off a check with your filled out form to 6 Pheasant Hill Road (like the bird) and your card will be reloaded. If you are new to the program, you will receive a Hannaford grocery card for the full amount of your check. Hannaford gives the schools 5% of every dollar loaded onto your card. Community News

Otter Pond YMCA Summer Camp is in need of reading books for grade levels K-6. If there are any Cape families that have used books they'd be willing to donate, please get in contact with Kay Sze. Her home number is 799-5120, and her cell is 232-8894, and she would be happy to arrange picking them up. The children who attend the Otter Pond camp are primarily refugee children from the Portland area, and would very much appreciate the donation.
